Friends and Trustees Day at Kansas Library Conference

An inspiring speaker, lunch prepared by a chef, door prizes! What more could a conference offer?

Friends of Kansas Libraries and Kansas Library Trustee Association remind everyone to send library board members and Friends to the Kansas Library Conference Wednesday, October 19th, 2016, at the Hyatt Hotel in Wichita.

The pre-conference (8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) Wednesday featuring Joan Frye Williams is “The Fully Engaged Trustee.”  Joan is known as a futurist who will challenge her audience with new ideas. Joan will also be the featured speaker for the Friends and Trustees luncheon.  Don’t miss it!

You can now register online for the one-day Friends and Trustees day for $50 on the KLA Conference website, 1 meal included. /index.php/registration/

Follow the instructions to register a Friend or Trustee.  You can pay by credit card or ask for an invoice if you wish, but do register now. Sharing successful programs at conference is what librarians do — Friends and Trustees can do it, too!

This day is made possible by financial support of the seven Kansas Regional Library Systems.
