FoKL award winners and conference activities in review.

The annual meeting of Friends of Kansas Libraries will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 7, 2010. The meeting will be at Century II Convention Center, Wichita, Kansas, Room 204. All members of Friends of Kansas Libraries attending the Kansas Library Annual Conference are invited to attend this meeting.

Business to be conducted includes amendment of the bylaws (see previous post) and election of Secretary and Treasurer.

Does your library Friends group sponsor a book sale? Would it be helpful to know when other libraries schedule their sales?

Friends of Kansas Libraries is offering to advertise book sales for its members. Tell us the details — date, time and location. We will post on the FoKL web page a schedule of sales and promote current ones on our web site.
